Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be sound and thoroughly cleaned before application. Remove all traces of grease, oil, loose particles of mortar, wallpaper, paint, etc. The prepared surface must be wetted with water prior to application and attain a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition. Nitotile GTA White can be applied directly on concrete, cement screeds, cement or lime mortars provided they are strong and stable.

Mixing: Take the liquid polymer (Part A) in a suitable container and add the powder part (Part B) gradually under mixing. Use a slow-speed drill fitted with a paddle to obtain a uniform, lump-free consistency. Overmixing should be avoided as it can result in air entrainment. Do not add extra water to adjust consistency.

Application: Apply Nitotile GTA White onto the prepared substrate and spread with a serrated trowel to achieve a uniform thickness of 3–4 mm. Place the tiles firmly onto the adhesive bed ensuring total contact with a twisting motion. Choose work areas so that tiles can be fixed within the open time of the adhesive (approx. 20 mins at 30°C). Normally, granite and marble tiles up to 20 mm thickness can be fixed in vertical position without problem.
